Just Select the game you want to change when it asks you to select a file. Okay, Pirates Gold is stupid here because it takes away one from every file number. So, if you put your file in file space 1 inside the game it would save as PIRATES0.SAV—And, if you saved in file space 8, it would save as PIRATES7.SAV. A little of the unintuitive DOS bullshit that haunts us from DOS ported programs.
This little ditty does the following things:

You’re a really cool person, and your Pirates Gold game should reflect that. It gives you DUKE status from the Spanish, English, French, and Dutch... Hmm... now, Benedict Arnold, who are you going to betray?
Men, Men, Men.
Think you’re a great leader? Well, PiGZ bestows 5000 men on your Dukeship. Too bad you’ve only got one bathroom.
Fish & SHIPS
Of course, you’ve gotta feed all those men... you get 8 days worth of food for 5000 men. And, as an added bonus, you get 5 FAST GALLEONS and 1 SLOOP! Sorry, none have air-conditioning. (Picky... Picky...)
Gold! Wonderful, Gold!
This is an included option. Gold rains on you at the pace of 80,000 gold pieces. We’ve included an abort option if you don’t want to get the 80,000. Hey, if you don’t want it, we’re keepin’ it! (You’d better get more food for those men.)
Cannon This!
And, to defend your fleet, we donate a measly 40 cannon. If you run out of shot, just throw men at them. You sure do have enough...
WHAT PiGZ does NOT do:
Mail Order Women
We do not marry you. If you can’t get a wife yourself, you’re out of luck.
Defeat colonies for you or give thier status
Come on, you want to keep the game fun don’t you? What would you be doing with all those men?
Change Your Age
Please, if you get too old, you have been playing the same game too long. Then again... If enough requests are made, we can arrange for you to magically become 25. But, in this version—stuck out of luck.
Change Your Name
You like your name, so it’ll stay that way.
Change the Date
If you run out of time, you run out of time... Even a patcher can’t keep time from moving on... (Actually, I didn’t think to alter that...)

Crash your Ship
When you re-open your game, you may check all your stats in your cabin EXCEPT FOR THE SHIP STATUS. After you leave the town, you may. This is a weird thing, I don’t know why my computer fizzles every time I do this.
Tobacco Growers Union
Every once in a while, a game will change from Sugar to Tobacco or Hides to Tobacco. This effects the game in no way. It just happens to like tobacco. This will be fixed when version 2 comes out—PiGZ FLY. (Get it?)

Please do not distribute this cheater without the documentation (this Read Me). It’s easy to distribute... just distribute it in the little app that this came in. If this did not come with an install application... you GOT BURNED!!! Another thing, it’s freeware, so take it, I don’t want it. What would I want it for? Usually, if you have something like AutoDoubler™ or a disk driver compression like Stacker™ the patch WON’T work. So give up and don’t send me a bug report. Just go buy yourself a bigger hard drive. Also, don’t try it if you have AutoDoubler Internal Compressor™ compressing the inards of the application. It’ll just bomb you. Have a good day!
